About the CVB

The Ann Arbor Area Convention & Visitors Bureau is the complete resource for visitors and residents of the Ann Arbor/ Washtenaw County area. Whether you are an individual, family, large group or full convention, we offer trustworthy information, helpful suggestions, as well as help plan and execute your event. We are here to answer your questions, serve your interests, and lead you in the correct direction. Our goal is to attract visitors and facilitate their stay, giving them direction along the way.

The Ann Arbor Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (AAACVB) is a Michigan non-profit membership corporation governed by a 19-member board of directors, representing specific segments of the hospitality industry and elected by the members of the AAACVB.

The AAACVB provides a consolidated, integrated “umbrella” program effort that includes all major local tourism sectors in a synergistic effort. This consolidated approach has been consistently proven throughout the industry to deliver greater results for all involved—including accommodations, restaurants, retail, attractions, the arts, sports, transportation and other front line businesses who serve travelers.

Our Mission

The Ann Arbor Area Convention and Visitors Bureau is the official public and business sector tourism marketing organization whose mission is to enhance the economy of the Ann Arbor area and the county of Washtenaw in general, through the promotion of the area as a destination for overnight visitors.
